Situated in a vibrant creative community building occupying a former dressmaking factory in The Mounts area of Northampton, close to the Town Centre and Racecourse, our well equipped photographer studios are the perfect place for all your photographic needs.

About our photographer studios

The area is 7.3m by 4.5m and is decorated in white througout. There is a spacious dressing area to change in which even has a vintage wardrobe and dressing table, which can make lovely props too!

As well as the white walls, there are full height paper backdrops in a variety of colours (Ultra-Black, White, Marigold and Oxford Blue at 2.7m wide, ceiling-hung and Red and Grey at 1.6m wide supported from a bakdrop stand kit) and black venitian blinds.

To one side is a half-glazed wall and, with the glazing frosted, it makes a beautiful backdrop.

The floor is painted brilliant white in the general shooting area and there is a black carpet in the changing and utility areas.

You have an extensive variety of props and accessories available to use including a white sofa, black stool, wooden step-seat, a large disco ball and a collection of smaller props and clothes.

Equipment for the photgrapher is good too with 1 x 250w and 2 x 150w monoblock flash heads, lighting boom, 2 x softboxes, 1 x full-length gridded strip softbox, 48cm beauty dish with honeycomb, snoots, barn doors & gels, 2 x 45w slave flashes, 3 x large 5-in-1 circular reflectors, reflector holder, posing blocks, baby posing kit, giant anglepiose lamp, tripod and remote triggers. A 6″ x 9″ dye-sublimnation printer is available on request too.

Hiring our photographer studios

You can hire our well equipped photographer studios for your shoots by the hour, day or evening at very competitive rates.

Our rates are fully inclusive of all equipment. The only extras that we charge is for the use of the lab-quality printer and written-off backdrop paper.

Photographer Studios – Hire Rates;

• First hour: £25
• Subsequent hours: £20
• Half day (4 hours): £80
• Full day (8 hours): £150
• Evening (7.30pm-10.30pm): £50
• 6″x9″ lab prints, by prior arrangement: £2.50 each
• Backdrop paper rendered unusable by your shoots: £5/metre

Should you decide to hire our photographer studios, you are sure to be happy.  Liability for equipment used during the hire rests with the hirer.
