We believe that having clear, concise and simple Terms and Conditions is important both for you, the customer, and us. They allow us both to be clear on what is expected and prevent disputes later. There can be nothing worse than disagreeing over what is being delivered during, or even after, the event!
Because we do a variety of different work, we have different Terms and Conditions available for each;
Weddings etc.
For Weddings, Civil Partnerships, Naming ceremonies and other similar events, we have a simple contract with a booking form and photograph schedule. The schedule is a particularly useful document to use when you are planning what photos you want from your event.
Portraits and Studio Work
For Portraits, Product Photography, Parties and other studio-based work, we have the following simple contract with a booking form.

James Thorpe Photography is insured with Aaduki Multimedia Insurance for £2m Public Liability, £2m Products Liability and £75k Professional Indemnity insurances – Policy Number MUM2010AAD01/DMI/80659ABD
All our Terms and Conditions are based upon the standard Templates provided to its members by the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers and we acknowledge their help in this regard.
All transactions are to be carried out in £Sterling and all transactions not involving a bespoke made-to-order product, you have the right to cancel any order within 7 days of receipt in line with the Distance Selling Regulations
